White House communications director Mike Dubke has resigned just three months after being appointed by US President Donald Trump, ABC News reported on Tuesday.

The 47-year-old PR director resigned on May 18 but offered to stay until the end of the president's first foreign trip, according to the report, which added that Dubke's last day has not been decided yet.

Dubke had served as White House communications director since March.
