China Yiwu International Manufacturing Equipment Expo (ME Expo) is one of the main exhibitions in China of manufacturing equipment in various business areas including machining, robotics, electronics, spare parts, environment protection, packaging, logistics and much more.
This year’s ME Expo, on the theme of “Intelligence · Green ·Environmental protection”, consists of 8 professional shows covering the whole chain of manufacturing industry with a space of 60000 sqm. 848 companies from 18 provinces and municipalities of China and 11 countries and regions aboard with leading-edge equipment manufacturing technology are invited to attend the multiple forums and B2B meetings.
From Manufacture to Intelligent Manufacture
Under the comprehensive leading of "Made in China 2025" policy, automation and intellectualization have been applied in all fields, especially in the manufacturing industry.
Over the same period of Yiwu International Manufacturing Equipment Expo, 2017 China Artificial Intelligence Expo (CAIE 2017) is held. Themed on “Intelligence · Openness · Sharing”, the CAIE 2017 has attracted numbers of leading-edge technological achievements. People can have an up-close experience of Microsoft’s artificial intelligent virtual robot Xiaobing, and education, service and medical robots from HIT Robot Group.
2017 China Artificial Intelligence Expo has a space of 22500 sqm with professional shows of intelligent life, intelligent system, robot etc.
Mao Guanglie, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress, Consultant of CHINA INFO 100, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Artificial Intelligence Development Expert Committee, said in his keynote speech that the essential work in the future 5 years is building up data link in the manufacturing process, supporting technological innovation related to product and product line, carrying out pilot projects of intelligent manufacturing industry base and optimizing the intelligent manufacturing supply chain ecosystem.
Yiwu Strategy in the intelligent industry
With a large amount of trade volume and complete supporting industrial layout, Yiwu’s artificial intelligent industry has come into shape. Against this backdrop, artificial intelligent industry planning and layout are needed to achieve urban transformation and development.
Liu Runhua, Director of China Artificial Intelligence Expo organizing committee, Deputy Director of Yiwu Science and Technology Bureau, introduced that the Artificial Intelligence Expo will build a chain to promote the interaction among artificial intelligent companies, industrial parks, incubators, industry funds, design centers, market and the expo. The scale and influence of China Artificial Intelligence Expo will be continuously expanded in the future, Liu added.
During the 2017 China Artificial Intelligence Expo, Yiwu Artificial Intelligence Development Plan will be issued.
