Coronavirus found in November frozen sewage samples in Brazil

Brazilian researchers are looking into samples of the new corona virus found in the country much before Brazil’sthe first official COVID-19 case to try and understand how the virus has evolved since.

SARS-CoV-2was found in frozen sewage samples in the southern state of Santa Catarina that dates back to November 2019.

CGTN's Paulo Cabral travelled to thestate capital of Florianopolis to investigate.
