Blast rocks Afghan capital Kabul, casualties feared

A big blast rocked Afghan capital city Kabul, followed by gun shotson Thursday, with casualties feared, an official said on the condition of anonymity.

The blast happened in Shashdarak area close to ISAF headquarters, Afghan intelligence agency office and the U.S. embassy compound.

Security personnel cordoned off the area and kept journalists away from the site of the blast.
