Now that the long July 4th holiday weekend is over in the U.S., it is back to work for many people.

But for state and local government leaders and health officials, they are bracing for an increase in coronavirus cases.

The states of Arizona, California, Florida, and Texas have already seen a spike in recent weeks.

Florida had nearly 67,000 new cases in just the past seven days.
