Former police officers face new charges over George Floyd’s death

Derek Chauvin, a former Minneapolis Police officer, now faces second degree murder andmanslaughter charges after kneeling on the neckof​GeorgeFloyd for almost eight minutes. Jury selection will begin next week. Three other officers go on trial in August.
