Though the week-long Spring Festival holiday has ended in China, various overseas celebrations are still underway.

In the United States, Golden Dragon Parade, New Year Concert, and performing arts show are held in Los Angeles and Houston to celebrate the biggest Chinese festival. Here's a look.

Chinese celebrations have grown with China's oversea's population...

And lunar new year is especially prominent in America - where more than two million Chinese now live.

In Los Angeles, the 114th annual Chinese New Year "Golden Dragon Parade" was held in the streets of Chinatown, with traditional Dragon and drum dances.

"This is my second time to join the Golden Dragon Parade. The parade is getting bigger every year, and what I see here are more visitors coming this year, it's become a platform to celebrate the Chinese New Year for Chinese Americans and American' s mainstream. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone have a happy and healthy new year."

High school students from China helped organise the parade, celebrating Chinese New Year for the very first time in America.

"I'm very happy to be celebrating Chinese New Year with Chinese Americans, and wish the entire overseas Chinese a happy Chinese New Year!"

"I think this is really interesting; it's my first time to celebrate Chinese New Year with so many people!

The festive parade drew crowds of locals and tourists alike:

"They do a lot of firecrackers, and they have a midnight church celebrations, but that was last week, so this parade.

As a new brand of Chinese culture, "China's Three Tenors", also performed in Los Angeles with more than a hundred singers... Attracting an audience of thousands:

"We three all performed here separately before. But this is the very first time for us to perform in Los Angeles together as 'China's Three Tenors'. I think it' s a great honor for us to perform for everyone, and I hope the audience will like our performance and support us."

A performing arts show from China was also staged in Houston Texas during the new year, to entertain the city's thousands of overseas Chinese...

The show - "Cultures of China, Festival of Spring" - featured Chinese folk songs, classic dances, magic and Peking opera performances.

"It's a superb show. We are so excited. We want to extend our heart-felt thanks to our motherland for sending such a performing group of top artists to us. Though we have lived abroad for years, our motherland and our compatriots at home have kept us in mind."

Since 2009, the show toured more than 170 cities worldwide... And will stage more than 60 performances, this season...

As China's cultural influence, continues to go global.
