COVID-19 vaccination moves slowly in Peru

A slow vaccine rollout and record deaths in a second wave of infections has provoked fears in Peru thatthe countrycould face a prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

Officially, there are more than 1.7 million coronavirus cases, and the virus has killed more than 58,000 Peruvians.
