China spent shortly about 10 minutes and slashed the away team by 25-14 in set one.

In set two, Czech Republic once equalized the scores at 6-6, and kept the differences within one or two points.? But after technical stops, China fine tuned? their tactics, and ended the game at 25-17.

Except a few blatant turnovers, the "Chinese Great Wall" was not much tested by their eastern Europe counterpart, and sealed the victory at 3-0 in total.

China's coach Lang Ping said Czech Republic had been suffering from such disadvantages as jet lag and long traveling hours. But it was the first ever bout of the teams, therefore China must be highly focused on dealing with this fresh opponent.

She added that there are still problems existing among the team members, but refused to identify which ones she was referring to.
