11 trapped in central China mine accident

Eleven workers were trapped in a coal mine gas outburst in central China's Hubei Province, said local government sources Tuesday.

The accident occurred on Monday night at the Xinjia Coal Mine in Badong County, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.

Rescue operation is under way.
