The largest musical festival in Denmark and in Northern Europe, Roskilde Festival, announced on Thursday the first batch of 14 names that will take the stages during the event's 47th edition next summer.
Danish musician, songwriter and producer Trentemoller and American singers Angel Olsen and G-Eazy are among the first publications, while Moderat and Modeselektor from Germany will aslo join forces, according to the festival organizer.
"Moderat and Modeselektor share members, but they have actually never before appeared together. So it will be a just-in-Roskilde experience when they join forces to create a three-hour electronic club night in the Orange Stage," said program manager Anders Wahren.
The 2017 Roskilde Festival will take place from June 24th through July 1st. Tickets go on sale on November 15.

With eight months to go, the organizer is yet to reveal some 160 more names.
"Roskilde Festival acts in many ways to explore the styles and musical communities," Wahren said. "Next year's festival will certainly be a place where you can again meet all the music that you did not know you love," he added.
Created in 1971 by two high school students Mogens Sandfaer and Jesper Switzer Moeller, Roskilde Festival has developed into one of Europe's major musical events over the years.
Last year it attracted around 130,000 visitors from home and abroad to the small town of Roskilde, some 40 km west of Copenhagen, with its 179 acts within eight days.
The festival was taken over in 1972 by the Roskilde Foundation, which has since run the festival as a non-profit organization for development and support of music, culture and humanism.
