M7.0 quake hits SE of Pondaguitan, Philippines

An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 jolted 213 kilometers southeast of Pondaguitan, Philippines at 1223GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 95.8 kilometers, was initially determined to be at 4.839 degrees north latitude and 127.369 degrees east longitude.
