Silk Road Cykathlon competition in China's Huai'an

**Huaian, Nov.20 (APD)- **On November 11, the 2017 Silk Road Cykathlon competition kicked off in Huai'an, southern China.

Cykathlon is an outdoor competition that features long-distance running, cycling, kayaking and jogging. Five consecutive games was held since ™Cykathlon opened in Huai'an and became the first deal competition of China sport industry resources trading platform in 2015.

Now ™Cykathlon has already become an important brand event of Huai'an and it also is an annual event for people from around the world who like this type of competition.

A total number of 3000 peoples participated this year, including 24 professional groups and 11 amateur groups, five of whom are come from country like France, Russia, Germany, and Moldova.

“This is a good opportunity to promote the outdoor sports of Huaian and it reflect Huai'an is activity integrating into the ‘Belt and Road’ national strategy,” Ren Yifeng, Director General of the Outdoor Sports Committee of the Maritimes Silk Road Cities Alliance said, “it also is a good chance for the city of Huai'an to communicate with other cities of the Maritimes silk road.”

First runner-up of this competition is University of Geosciences, LP support team is the second runner-up and LuRen team became the third placeholder.
