DPRK promulgates decree of amnesty

The Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea promulgated a decree of amnesty on July 30 on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, KCNA reported on Saturday.

The amnesty will take effect from September 17, 2020, according to the report, which did not specify who the amnesty would apply to.
