The exhibition on ancient Egyptian culture opened on August 15 and will last for three months, showcasing 107 groups of rare treasures taken on loan from Manchester Museum including six golden mummies, 11 Fayum mummy portraits and 12 painted mummy masks. /CFP
The six golden mummies date back to around the first century AD under the reign of Greek-Roman governance. During this period, wooden coffins were basically no longer in use. /CFP
