Iran are working together with world major countries, exploring various possibilities to move forward to a final deal, the Iranian foreign minister said here on Tuesday.

"We are exploring various possibilities to address the question, " Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told Xinhua after his meeting with EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton on Tuesday in Vienna.

"We certainly have the political will to move forward," said the Iranian foreign minister.

As the Nov. 24 deadline is looming, Iran and P5+1 group, or the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany, are striving hard to find a solution to resolve the decade-old tough issue.

Western states has long suspected Iran of developing nuclear bomb under cover of Tehran's civilian nuclear program, an allegation Iran rejected, saying its atomic plan is exclusively peaceful.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is set to arrive in Vienna and join the meetings with Ashton and Zarif on Wednesday.

Zarif told Iranian media that he hopes the meetings could help pave the way for a final deal.

Under the extended interim accord between Iran and the world major countries, Iran agreed to suspend some sensitive nuclear activities in exchange of limited sanction relief in a duration of 12 months to buy time for the diplomatic effort to resolve the issue.

Officials told Xinhua earlier in the day that delegations of the P5+1 group will gather in Vienna on Thursday to further discuss the issue after the top diplomats' meetings.

In the last round of talks in New York, Iran and the world major countries failed to make big progress, some people doubt if the negotiators could find a solution to address the remaining tough issues in the six weeks ahead of the Nov. 24 deadline.

However, it seems that Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, a relative pragmatist, is optimistic to reach a comprehensive deal by the deadline.

"We will find a solution to the nuclear subject and we believe that the two sides will certainly reach a win-win agreement," said Rouhani on Monday, according to Iranian broadcaster Press TV. Enditem
