U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry visited Poland and met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Tuesday.

On the agenda of the discussion were bilateral relations, a U.S.-EU trade agreement, climate policy, the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius and online privacy protection.

The duo also discussed prospects for a global climate policy, as representatives are set gather in Warsaw for the annual UN climate change conference to negotiate on national commitments and targets in emissions reduction later this month.

Also on Tuesday, Kerry met with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski and Defense Minister Tomasz Siemoniak to discuss political, economic and military cooperation.

Sikorski said that the meeting with Kerry "confirmed good strategic relations between the U.S. and Poland."

Poland is the only European country on Kerry's itinerary after he visited Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
