A Tibetan teenager has a chance to pursue his football dream thanks to the poverty-relief relocation program in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.

Caiqutang village, a village for relocation in Yangbajing Town, saw its first batch of resettlers in late 2017. Now it offers better utilities and health care for 683 inhabitants who moved here from barren alpine areas.

Phursang Wangchuk moved to Caiqutang village with his family from Nyima County of Nagqu, which has an average altitude of more than 5,000 meters. Due to the harsh environment there, people were leading quite hard life and playing football used to be a luxury.

Now things have changed.
