Five supply transfer stations in central China's Hubei Province, the center of the novel coronavirus outbreak, had received over 1,500 tonnes of donated supplies from across China as of Thursday noon, according to local authorities.

The supplies include food, disinfectants, protective gears, quilts and clothes, among other things, said the provincial department of transportation.

The department will continue to implement policies that facilitate smooth transportation of supplies to the transfer stations, said Zhu Hanqiao, head of the department.

Hubei set up five transfer stations in the cities of Wuhan, Ezhou and Xiangyang to receive emergency supplies from nationwide. The stations received the first batch of supplies on Feb. 4.
