The 'ice-castles' of North Woodstock, New Hampshire

Man-made 'ice castles' in North Woodstock in the U.S. state of New Hampshire attracted hundreds of visitors this week.The attraction's opening night had to be delayed for several weeks due to warmer weather and rain. The 'ice castles' are built by artists who begin with small icicles, and over the course of several weeks, using sprinklers and freezing temperatures, manage to grow a park's worth of ice structures, some reaching up to 20 feet high.
