Former ambassador Jha found dead

KATHMANDU, August 20 (APD) – Former ambassador to France Keshav Jha was found dead at his house in Thapathali this morning.

Police said Jha, 80, was stabbed to death at his residence. He has a deep cut on his head. According to police, Jha’s family members informed the police at around 6: 30 in the morning after they knew about the incident.

A team from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division has reached Jha’s home for investigation. Jha's body will be taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for post mortem, police said.
