Powerful earthquake hits off the Greek island of Crete

A magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck near the Greek island of Crete on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

China Earthquake Networks Center recorded the magnitude at 6.5.

So far, there is no report of a potential tsunami.
