Award ceremony for photo contest held in Hong Kong

The Award ceremony for the photo contest named as “Hong Kong in my eyes was held in Hong Kong. It is also a celebration for the 65th anniversary of Wen Hui Pao.

The contest presented certificates and prizes to a champion, a runner-up, and a third place as well as 20 people who won the Merit Awards.

Jiang Zeng He, the vice president of Wenhui newspaper agency said that they received more than 2000 pictures which showed different perspectives from people from different background and classes. The committee selected award winners based on professional standards such as themes, composition or skills.

The champion’s photo recorded an experienced crafts man who is advanced in age but wasstillconcentrating on his work, showing a spirit of dedication. According to the champion, this spirit reflected the essence of Hong Kong city.
