Cui Tiankai: Biden's remarks reflect misreading of China

U.S. President Joe Biden's remarks on China reflect American policymakers' misreading of China, said Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Cui Tiankai on Friday.

In a CMG interview, Cui pointed out that the U.S. side has misread China's development goals, as well as the current world trend towards multilateralism.

The ambassador has also criticized certain multinational corporations that try to disrupt or even destroy the operations of the market and the international supply and industrial chains to meet the demands of some interest groups.

Such a move will be a "dangerous precedent," warned Cui.
