COVID-19 hinders Argentina's beef exports to China

Growing demand from China has boosted agricultural exports from many Latin American countries, in particular beef from Argentina.

Around three quarters of the country's beef exports are now destined for China, and while producers are eager to capitalize on the demand, the COVID-19 pandemic has created complications.

In 2018, Argentina expanded the number of beef products it exports to one of its main markets.
