She Power: Discovering oneself through nature

Yao Songqiao is the founder of Wild Bound, an institution dedicated to raising awareness about nature. She was the first from China to join Homeward Bound, the largest-ever global female expedition to Antarctica. She has been to the Antarctic Peninsula 16 times and visited over 70 countries. Yao and her team employ innovative educational activities to focus on different ecosystems, such as polar regions, oceans, forests and rivers, allowing young adults to explore nature as well as themselves.

"The journey onward is not to have more and more, but to be able to have a sense of peace, and to be able to help other people achieve their dreams."
