Taiwan-related proposal to WHA doom to fail: Foreign Ministry

China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said on Monday that a Taiwan-related proposal made to the World Health Assembly was doomed to fail.

"It showed that the one-China policy cannot be shaken," Wang said in a statement.

The Taiwan region was not invited to the virtual assembly, which is focused on the COVID-19 pandemic.
