Israeli Intelligence Minister Yuval Steinitz met British nuclear negotiator on Wednesday here, discussing about the final accord on Iran's nuclear program, the Haaretz Daily reported.
Simon Gass, political director of the British Foreign Office, said in a statement that most of the sanctions will stay in place.
On Tuesday, Steinitz met French negotiator Jacques Audibert to discuss Israel's concerns about the final agreement with Iran.
Israel opposed the deal struck between world powers and Iran, saying that it does not go far enough to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Israel hopes for a more stringent final agreement expected to be reached in six months.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been campaigning against lifting the sanctions on Iran.
He charged that the Iranians are trying to stall for time while carrying on their attempts to achieve nuclear weapons, adding that those would create an "existential threat" to Israel.
Iran says its nuclear program is for peaceful civilian needs.
