Mobile P3 laboratories used for testing coronavirus in Beijing

The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) on Wednesday dispatched mobile P3 laboratories and 14 testing personnel to Beijing to help the city carry out nucleic acid testing.

The daily testing capacity of the mobile P3 laboratories can reach 1,000 samples, according to the China CDC.

Since the coronavirus outbreak, the China CDC has dispatched mobile P3 laboratories and testing teams to key areas, including Wuhan, to carry out laboratory testing tasks.

The China CDC started putting its P3 laboratories into use on June 12 to help Beijing expand testing capacity and improve testing efficiency, carrying out nucleic acid testing round the clock.
