Pakistan was a non-NATO close ally with the US on its war on terror, and a strategic partner during the cold war era. Pakistan paid the heavy cost of its friendship with the US. Especially, our cooperation with the US was rewarded in the form of Sanctions, coercion, pressures, economic isolations, and diplomatic isolations, etc. Instead, the US declared India as Major Defense Partner and strategic-ally. However, as long as, Pakistan was supporting the US, it was protecting American interests in this region and ensured that the Americans have achieved all strategic goals. The US deep state knows it very well but is hesitant to acknowledge it publically. They understand the real potential of Pakistan but undermine it often. But, since, the US got closer to India and replaced Pakistan with India, the US faced one after another failure. The Afghan debacle is also credited to India.

Pakistan shares mountains and rivers with Afghanistan, the common borders stretched to several thousand Kilometers. We share the same history, culture, traditions, languages, religions, etc, and understand each other very well. There is no other country, who can understand Afghans better than Pakistan. Yet, the US was involving India in Afghan affairs.

Pakistan sacrificed around 80,000 precious lives, an economic loss of estimated up to US Dollars 250 Billion due to the Afghan war. Extremism, intolerance, terrorism was promoted in Pakistan. Smuggling and trafficking were at their peak, gun and drug culture were promoted in Pakistan.

Pakistan is a resilient nation and learned through bitter experiences during the last couple of decades. Pakistan pulled out all wars, conflicts, disputes, and promotes peace, harmony, serving humanity and rescuing human lives. Pakistan is available any time anywhere to serve humanity.

While withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, Pakistan played a crucial role and it was recognized by the US administration too. Not only the US State Department has refused to endorse former Afghan president Ashraf Ghani’s claim that 10 to 15 thousand Pakistanis had joined the Taliban offensive on Kabul. Instead, a senior State Department official praised Pakistan and other partners for providing "critical assistance” to US efforts to evacuate American troops and civilians from Afghanistan.

The US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, who also addressed this Wednesday afternoon news briefing, included Pakistan among a dozen countries who, she said, provided critical support to US evacuation efforts. “We’re enormously grateful to the huge network of countries that have provided critical assistance for our evacuation efforts,” she said while naming Pakistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, and the UAE among the countries that supported the evacuation. She also named America’s key European allies – Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and others – “who have helped transit Americans and others to safety.”

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been conducting special humanitarian assistance operations to shift thousands of foreigners from Kabul to Islamabad. And successfully evacuated thousands already and will continue uninterruptedly. Pakistan is a responsible state and knows its moral obligations. As a principle stance, Pakistan is always available any time anywhere to rescue humanity. Pakistan is committed to sharing its part of global responsibility.

Many leaders, nations, and countries have admired Pakistan’s role in the Afghan issue, starting from bringing the Taliban to negotiations in Doha, and then to the evacuation of foreigners from Kabul airport. Especially many European governments approached Pakistan for evacuation of their diplomats and citizens. Pakistan proactively issued them emergency visas and airlifted them to Pakistan. Thousands of foreigners are passing their quarantine time in Pakistan.

Pakistan foresees and more peaceful and harmonious world and will keep struggling to achieve this goal. However, spoilers are the major obstacle and we have to overcome. It is appealed to all peace-loving nations, and individuals to raise their voice for righteousness and oppose all mischievous. The ultimate victory is for the righteous.
