At least 32 people were killed on Saturday after a passenger bus plunged into a river in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, AFP reported citing local police.
According to the district magistrate Kailash Chand Verma, 32 bodies have been pulled from the bus and those injured have been taken to the hospital.
Although authorities haven’t confirmed the cause of the accident, survivors said the driver lost control when attempting to overtake another vehicle.
