Four dead after residential building collapses in Bangkok

At least four people were killed and several others are trapped after a residential building in Bangkok collapsed on Saturday, AFP reported citing an emergency worker.

The three-story house had been engulfed in flames earlier in the morning but the fire was put out before the structure caved in.

Firefighters and emergency responders were still on site when the building crumbled.

Among the dead are three rescue workers and a resident.

The cause of collapse remains unknown.
