APD | 140 firms from 20 countries participate in Qatar’s 2019 hunting expo

The 3rd edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S’hail 2019) in Doha, Qatar, with the participation of more than 140 local and international companies from 20 countries has been kicked off at the Cultural Village Foundation ‘Katara’ on Tuesday.

The General Manager of Katara Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al Sulaiti said the participants include the biggest companies dealing in hunting equipment, weapons and falcons.

Sulaiti said this edition of S’hail would be the most distinguished in terms of organization, diversity, quality, number of participants, as well as the variety of cultural events.

Sulaiti expressed his gratitude to the Social and Sports Support Fund ‘Da’am’ for their constant support to the Katara International Hunting & Falcons Exhibition, which plays a significant role in preserving Qatar’s national heritage and cultural values.

The exhibition also provides an opportunity for the public, falconers, hunters, traders and visitors from around the world to exchange experiences and promote products.

“S’hail has become a milestone in the regional map of exhibitions related to hunting and falcons. The huge international participation expanding every year gives confidence in the exhibition and reflects its growing importance.

Qatar government is focusing to provide funds with top priority to activities and initiatives aimed at preserving customs and cultural heritage.
