In pics: People commemorate girl killed in Times Square

Pictures of the victim and flowers are placed at the roadside of Times Square in New York, the Untied States, May 19, 2017, to commemorate to the girl killed here on Thursday.

A vehicle that struck pedestrians in Times Square and later crashed is seen on the sidewalk in New York City on Thursday.

The car killed one girl and injured about 20 others. The official said the driver was taken into custody after the lunchtime crash and was being tested for alcohol. Police do not suspect a link to terrorism.
