China’s Ministry of Commerce announced on Friday that it will continue to levy anti-dumping duties on cellulose pulp imported from the US, Canada and Brazil.

The ruling comes after the ministry reviewed its anti-dumping duties on pulp imported from the three countries.

According to the review, which began on Aug. 25 of last year, the aforementioned countries have dumped cellulose pulp on the Chinese market and such imports have caused substantial damage to the domestic industry.

The ministry said it will continue to implement its decision, which has been in effect since April 4, 2014, that China will impose five-year anti-dumping duties on cellulose pulp imported from the US, Canada and Brazil.
