MOFA: CGTN documentary on Xinjiang exposes terrorism, extremism

CGTN's exclusive documentary on Xinjiang clearly showed that the region suffered gravely from extremism and terrorism, China's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying said on Friday, adding Xinjiang hasn't seen a single terrorist attack over the past four years.

Hua said Western countries have been fabricating lies, such as "genocide" and "forced labor," about Xinjiang to suppress China's developments.

"A wise man will not listen to rumors," she said, adding that China welcomes people from all walks of life to visit Xinjiang.
