Walt Disney is famous around the world for its animated films, and children aren’t the only ones who believe in its magic.

A

young South African entrepreneur wants to create his own version of

Disney using toys made of recycled materials – to do the trick.

Visual artist and founder of Taki Originals, Goodwill Mokoka, believes he can succeed and build his own global brand.

“The one thing that I know about Lego and Walt Disney at

some point they were naive as I am. So if they could make it why not.

As Steve Jobs said the ones who change the world are the ones who

believe they can,” he said.

Mokoka’s two-year-old company is already known for its crazy-colored toys, made from recycled materials.

He also runs an animation studio and wants to create authentic stories about Africa.

Mokoka hopes to tell of African stories to the world.

“I want to be writing stories of black kids in Africa.

The story of Africa is hardships. But we are more than that. We have

ambition, and I think Africa is the hardest working continent,” he said.

Mokoka has high hopes that one day, his brand will compete on the international stage.
