George Floyd Justice in Policing Act awaits passage

May 25 marks the one-yearanniversary of George Floyd’s death.

Although the now former police officer, Derek Chauvin was found guilty of murder, new legislation aimed at stopping similar deaths at thehands of police has yet to be passed by the U.S. Senate.

And as CGTN’s Dan Williams reports, civil rights groups are concerned the final draft will be watered down.
