The iPhone apps for Spotify, Tinder and Pinterest are crashing for users around the world, apparently due to a Facebook bug.
The core issue seems to lie with Facebook's software developer kit (SDK) for iOS, which embeds Facebook functionality within other apps - for instance allowing people to login using their Facebook accounts.
Some of these services which have web interfaces are still accessible using web browsers.
Spotify's status account on Twitter said: "Something's out of tune. We're currently investigating, and we'll keep you posted here!"
It is the second time this year that a bug in Facebook's SDK has impacted other apps, causing them to crash when launched, after a similar incident in May.
Facebook said it is investigating the issue and expects it to be fixed in a matter of hours.
