The Philippines is granting visas on arrival to qualified Chinese nationals to attract more tourists and investors from China, the Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BI) said on Thursday.
"BI will be issuing landed visas to nationals from the People's Republic of China (PROC) in a bid to draw more tourists and investors from the world's most populous nation and fastest growing economy," the BI said in a statement.
A landed visa allows a traveler to receive his or her actual visa at the airport of the destination.
