Vice mayor of Shanghai under investigation

Gong Dao'an, vice mayor of Shanghai and director of the municipal public security bureau, has been under disciplinary and supervisory investigation by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission for suspected severe violations of disciplines and laws, an official statement said Tuesday.
