OECD sees clear pick-up of Indian economy

India is seeing a clear pick up in growth momentum compared with the stable growth of other major economies, according to Paris-based Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on Monday.

"India is the only major economy where the CLI (composite leading indicator) points to a clear pick-up in growth momentum," OECD said in a statement.

india's CLI rose to 99.6 in Oct. from 99.4 in the previous month.

The OECD also said that the Indian economy was expected to see an average growth of 6.7 percent over the 2015-19 period.

The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank projected 5. 6 percent growth rate for India this year.
