Golden arcade video games find lucrative new markets

It might be hard to believe in the era of Xbox and Playstation. But there was a time when you needed pocket change to play a video game.

And once you ran out, it was often game over – unless you could pester your parents for a few more coins.

But just like the resurgence in vinyl records, there’s a thriving global market for retro arcade games that pioneered an industry worth hundreds of billions of dollars today.

One entrepreneur is combining both, and that proved irresistible for retro fan, CGTN’s Owen Fairclough reports.
