Mongolia's first COVID-19 patient recovers

A French national, who became the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Mongolia on March 10, has pulled through, the Mongolian National Center for Communicable Disease (NCCD) said Monday.

"As a result, the number of the total recoveries from COVID-19 in the country has reached 10," Dulmaa Nyamkhuu, head of the NCCD, said at a press conference.

In addition, Mongolia conducted 161 tests for COVID-19 on Sunday and the results were all negative, according to the official.

As of Monday, Mongolia has confirmed 38 COVID-19 infections, including four foreigners. All the cases are imported ones.
