Macao to hold parade marking Year of Monkey

Macao will present a grand outdoor celebration event for the upcoming Chinese New Year, known as the "Parade for Celebration of the Year of the Monkey, the region's Tourism Office said in a press release on Thursday.

According to the Director of Macao SAR government Tourist Office Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, the annual event features fabulous float parade, splendid fireworks, local display of floats.

This year's parade will be joined by 14 floats, 28 local groups and over 1,000 performers from across the world.
