Over 90 injured in South Korean high-rise apartment fire

A total of 93 people, including one firefighter, were hospitalized after a fire in a 33-story tower block in the South Korean city of Ulsan, according to Yonhap News Agency.

Three people sustained serious injuries but are reportedly out of danger. No deaths have been reported, Yonhap said quoting the Ulsan Fire Department.

The blaze, which was doused after a nearly 16-hour-long operation, spread up the high-rise apartment building by strong winds at 11:07 p.m. on Thursday.

According to a Yonhap report, the fire is presumed to have broken out on the building's 12th floor, which houses more than 120 households and shopping units.

An investigation has been launched into the cause of the accident.
