Members of the CMPB said that they tried to explain geology in comic format, to make geology funnier and understandable to the public through cartoons.

The board further introduced the latest photo album of Hong Kong Global Geopark. The album has adopted a brand new design concept, showcasing Geopark in Hong Kong with 3D pop-ups and other interactive gimmicks. The 3D technology enables the photo album to present a holistic visual overview of the Hong Kong Geopark, and its breathtaking natural and cultural landscapes.

School education is also a major focus in promoting science popularization. Hong Kong Geopark has developed school program and activities to encourage a long-term interest in earth science, and to explore the links between science and art. The board expected 20 schools to participate in the program in the coming school year.
