China Comic and Animation Museum opens in Hangzhou

China Comic and Animation Museum opened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province on Saturday.

Composed of six mushroom-shaped architectures, the 30,382-square-meter museum looks like an auspicious cloud.

It has set up supporting functional areas with animation features such as theater, film and TV area, library and audio-visual room except for four permanent exhibition halls.

The museum has more than 20,000 collections including original paintings, playscripts with stage directions, historical materials, publications and models.
