Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Finland

Two new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Helsinki, Finland, on Sunday, Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) announced in a press release.

The new cases are persons who had contact with a woman who had tested positive for COVID-19 in Helsinki on Friday.

Both infected returned home after sampling and are in good conditions. They have been instructed to remain quarantined at home.

The screenings for those who were exposed to the patient diagnosed on Friday have been done well, and the exposed individuals have been contacted, said THL.

So far, a total of five COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Finland.
