Cuba will hold the 32nd International Trade Fair of Havana (FIHAV 2014) on Nov. 2-8 to attract foreign investment in its priority economic sectors, an official said here Tuesday.

The FIHAV 2014, the most important commercial event in Cuba, will offer opportunities for outside investors to enter Cuba's key economic sectors, such as renewable energy, agriculture and tourism, and give them upgraded law instruction, said Yohaney Savigne, a specialist of Cuba's Center for the Promotion of Foreign Trade and Investment.

Cuba's new law for foreign investment was approved by the parliament on March 29, replacing a previous legislation established in 1995, when former President Fidel Castro opened some sectors to foreign investors for the first time.
